昨晚在看寫給 Eugen 的 open letter [1]，裏面講到 mastodon 官方自稱不接受「線上賭場」捐贈 [2] ，同時 sponsorship 列表一堆 online casino 的名字 [3]。其中一個大大的「auscasinos」我真的有笑到（尤其是配合我站的介紹 
）。查了一下澳洲（和澳門一樣）也是明令禁止 online gambling 和相關廣告的 [4]
> It's illegal to provide some interactive gambling activities, such as 'online casinos', to someone in Australia. Examples include roulette, poker, craps, online 'pokies' and blackjack.
> It's generally illegal to advertise interactive online gambling to Australian audiences.
對我來說這些贊助 mastodon 的線上賭場不符合 Eugen 舉例的不能接受的「sponsorships that are not appropriate for all audiences」倒是其次，更重要的是它們（就我查證的來說都）是沒有博彩牌照（違法）的有詐騙嫌疑的網站。

很多國家/地區（比如大中華區除了澳門的所有地方）連實體賭場都違法（博彩業只 legalize 體育彩票 etc.），更不用說線上賭場的 license 有多難拿（即使是在澳門也是完全不允許的）。線上賭場監管太難了，因為比起改造博彩設備/真人出千，線上賭場的作弊成本太低了而且基本追查不可（只需要寫一串一勞永逸的作弊代碼）。所以基本上線上賭場都是違法/騙錢的。而且講真我看那些線上賭場的域名都覺得很弱欸 
看起來完全沒有我們站 legit 啊，你 TLD 怎麼不是「.legal」 
（如果真的想在 mastodon 找地方賭博，可以找骰寶機 @sicbo 玩老虎機，會虧的只有我的 CPU usage
